Join the fun & Host a Japanese Student
Only 6 nights – Thursday 27 July (pm) to Wednesday 2 August (am)
The Rotary Interact Clubs near Nagoya, Japan are bringing another group of high schools students to visit Como again this year! The program is being run by Shoji Australia.
Please support the visit by offering to host a student for 6 nights. Apart from friendship and the opportunity to participate in family life, host families only need to provide a bed (a mattress on the floor is OK) and meals (as normal) for the students. Families will receive a substantial payment to cover the student’s living expenses.
The Japanese students will start and end their day at Como Secondary College School. At school they will have their own program and join some regular classes. Shoji Australia act as guardians for the students during their stay and offer bilingual support (including after office hours & 24 hours for emergencies) to students and host families.
